The building on Basseliersstraat is an example of closed construction typical of the post-war period in Belgium. Built in 1949, the house has two storeys and a classical ground plan. The house is symmetrical in design, with a traditional layout that fits well with typical residential houses of the mid-20th century.
This cosy house in Deurne is in need of refurbishment. We try to involve the garden as much as possible in the house by playing with the formal language of the rear façade and the roof, extending structures, creating green oases in the house… The starting point is to attract as much light and greenery as possible to create cosy places to stay and be together. Behind every corner is a pleasant surprise where everyone can come to his or her senses and find peace. We make it a home!
