The Zuidervelodroom is a development in the Brederode neighbourhood with qualitatively designed homes. Attention has been given to large, open and bright interior spaces, lots of outdoor space, flexible layouts of the units, they are constructed with sustainable materials and are located in a car-free zone, a livable place for families and space for social interaction.
We received a request from some residents of the Zuidervelodroom in Antwerp to help think about a respectful extension to their home. The residents indicated that they were looking for a proposal supported by the residents and city.
From this the question arose for a total vision for the Zuidervelodroom site. A study/plan/image quality plan/vision that can carry and lift the future needs of the site into a place to live for small and large families.
