Ever since 1846, the Harmonie has been a meeting place for Antwerp citizens. From grand garden parties and fancy balls in the 19th century and early jazz in the 1920s when the Harmonie became a city festival hall but also the Second World War that cast a dark shadow over the hall. All of these stories can be listened to online, but the finest is to discover them in the hall or the Harmony Park itself. An installation on four of the columns in the main hall tells a piece of that history. But you can also walk outside along a trail with additional interpretation.

With the scenographic interventions, Dew Collective wants to expose an invisible layer of this special place to then fuse with the structures present.
