An initially fully built-up plot on Dageraadplaats in Antwerp was converted into a medical practice. Because of the limited surface area in the densely built-up city district, we decided to stack the consultation rooms. On the back side of the building a welcome patch of garden, providing generous light and views into the doctors’ private spaces, starts as a narrow green strip at the rear façade and fans out into a small urban garden, a green resting place for busy, hot days.
